«Writers' Union» award series

«Writers' Union» award series was established by the Russian International Short Wave Listener Club (RSWLC). The series will be gradually replenished with awards in honor of Russian and Soviet writers for their anniversaries and other significant dates of biography.

The award is issued once, regardless of the mode of emission. Repeated radio calls are not counted.

The validity of the award: indefinite.

«Mikhael Aleksandrovich Sholokhov» award

To receive «Mikhael Aleksandrovich Sholokhov» award, it is necessary to conduct a SWL/QSO with various Russian amateur radio stations, one of the letters in the callsign of which coincides with the letter of the writer's Name. One call sign is one letter of the writer's name. For example: МICHAEL ALEKSANDROVICH SHOLOKHOV: UA0LOM – M, RZ9LIO – I, RC5FO – C, etc. SWL/QSO with the radio station of the Rostov region of Russia is mandatory.

Radio communications on any amateur bands from May 24, 2021 are counted.

«Konstantin Mikhailovich Simonov» award

To receive «Konstantin Mikhailovich Simonov» award, it is necessary to conduct a SWL/QSO with various Russian amateur radio stations, one of the letters in the callsign of which coincides with the letter of the writer's Name. One call sign is one letter of the writer's name. For example: KONSTANTIN MIKHAILOVICH SIMONOV: UA0LOK – K, RZ9LOO – O, RN5FE – N, etc. SWL/QSO with the radio stations of St.Petersburg and Moscow of Russia is mandatory.

Radio communications on any amateur bands from November 28, 2021 are counted.

«Alexander Alexandrovich Fadeev» award

To receive «Alexander Alexandrovich Fadeev» award, it is necessary to conduct a SWL/QSO with various Russian amateur radio stations, one of the letters in the callsign of which coincides with the letter of the writer's Name. One call sign is one letter of the writer's name. For example: ALEXANDER ALEXANDROVICH FADEEV: UA0LOA – A, RZ9LLO – L, RX5FO – X, etc. SWL/QSO with the radio stations of Primorsky Krai, Tver Region and Moscow of Russia is mandatory.

Radio communications on any amateur bands from December 24, 2021 are counted.

«Alexey Nikolaevich Tolstoy» award

To receive «Alexey Nikolaevich Tolstoy» award, it is necessary to conduct a SWL/QSO with various Russian amateur radio stations, one of the letters in the callsign of which coincides with the letter of the writer's Name. One call sign is one letter of the writer's name. For example: ALEXEY NIKOLAEVICH TOLSTOY: UA0LOA – A, RZ9LLO – L, RX5FE – E, etc. SWL/QSO with the radio stations of the Samara region and Moscow of Russia is mandatory.

Radio communications on any amateur bands from January 10, 2022 are counted.
